Education By A Nurse In The Primary Care Of Patients Suffering From Chronic Diseases
JUNGOVÁ, Viktorie
This bachelor thesis deals with nurse education in the primary care of patients suffering from chronic diseases, specifically diabetes mellitus, hypertension and obesity in paediatric patients. The thesis consists of two parts, a theoretical and an empirical. The theoretical part first focuses on education, basic concepts, the process of education, design and preparation for education, implementation and evaluation. It also deals with primary care, its goals and scope, and finally education for diabetes mellitus, hypertension and obesity in paediatric patients. The empirical part has been carried out in the form of qualitative research through interviews with nurses from GPs for adults and GPs for children and adolescents. The aim was to find out how nurses in primary care actually educate patients with selected chronic diseases. The interviews have been conducted according to pre-prepared questions in which the nurses participated. The research group consisted of five nurses from a general practitioner's office for adults and five nurses from a general practitioner for children and adolescents. The results of the research survey have been categorized into seven categories. The result of the research survey points out that education is most often carried outintheform of a short interview, recommendations and subsequent publication of information leaflets. The nurses cannot rely on whether these leaflets are effective and patients really take them home and study them. The results of the thesis can serve as an aid for orientation in the education of patients with chronic diseases. They can be beneficial to nurses in primary care and can also serve as information material for the public.

Štanderová, Alena ; Rosenfeldová, Jana (advisor) ; Vranka, Marek (referee)
The thesis focuses on topic of marketing targeted on children in TV commercials for food and beverages. The theoretical part is devoted to information related to the psychological impact of advertising messages on consumers and describes the relationship of advertising to television as a chosen medium. A substantial part is then dedicated to children's perception of advertising, which is limited by psychological development, credulity or the absence of critical thinking. On the basis of the available knowledge, the advertising tools used by companies to attract the attention of the child audience are outlined and the last passage is devoted to the current regulation of marketing targeted on children in the Czech Republic. The subject of the practical part is then a quantitative content analysis of television advertisements carried out on six television channels that target a child audience at least in some of their broadcast sessions. The criteria for this were set on the basis of the selected study described in the theoretical part and subsequently modified in sub-points in order to reach the studied topic more precisely. The results of the analysis show that some elements such as music, animation or the use of authority figures in the spots are still used as a means to engage the audience, but...

Tyto faktory vedou ke zhoršení fyziologických funkcí, zatěžování statického a pohybového aparátu člověka a v neposlední řadě ke špatnému psychickému stavu jedince. Klíčová slova škola, snídaně, výživové návyky, obezita u dětí, prevence, vyvážená strava ABSTRACT The issue of children's nutrition in school attendance is still up to date and attracts attention. Children's obesity is increasing. There are many publications about children's obesity and associated with that higher number of accidents and higher attention issues (ADHD, ADD and other disorders). There are...

Obesity is responsible for more human lives than both of the world wars and if we want this epidemic of obesity and problems associated with inactivity minimized, we have to start where it is most efficient and that is with children. The main objective is to explore physical activity in a selected group of pupils. Partial aim is to determine the prevalence of overweight and obesity in the investigated group of students using somatometric measurements in the selected location. Another objective is to determine how many of childrens parents did sports in the past or actualy do sports. The final goal is to prepare educational material for students about the importance of physical activity. The work is divided into two parts theoretical and practical. The theoretical part was compiled as a secondary data analysis. Sources of data and information originated from the Czech Republic and abroad in the form of scholarly books, journals and electronic resources. The contents of the theoretical part is focused on explenation of terms such as obesity, its consequences, complications, ways to prevent obesity, physical activity, appropriate kinds of physical activity and its effects on the human body. Distinctive part is the chapter dealing with the myths of obesity some of them are really surprising. The second part is practical part and includes its own research. The investigation was conducted in a primary school Komenského alej in Žatec for pupils of the eighth and ninth grades. File featured 107 pupils. The research was conducted as a quantitative survey complemented by measurements of somatometric indicators. The data were collected using a custom non-standardized questionnaire.
